Significant accomplishments:

• Obtained Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification after completing a 5S project that organized the main plant cooler, allowing for all offsite raw cooler materials to be stored in the plant. Over $100K annual savings came from shutting down the offsite cooler, reducing the indirect labor cost at the offsite warehouse by 50%, and eliminating the cost of 3 reefer rental trailers.
• Restructured the roles and responsibilities of the warehouse team to include cross-training, allowing for better coverage in all warehouse areas and reducing the overall headcount by 2 employees.
• Simplified the loading of finished goods process. This resulted in the ability to pick, wrap, and load orders in the same day.
• Developed/Created SOP's for the Warehouse department.
• Project Lead on a Zero Waste to landfill Company initiative. On track to be under 5% waste to landfill by end of 2023. Trained and educated employees on proper recycling and the new company recycling process. Set up new vendors to better assist with our recycling needs and to incinerate the remaining trash to energy.
