I worked 2-3 days per week and 1 weekend per month as a staff Physical Therapist. I was responsible to perform inpatient, home care and outpatient evaluations, re-assessments and treatments. My daily patient schedule would vary based on the department needs for that day. I supervised Physical Therapist Assistants and shared a caseload with them.
I worked primarily in their outpatient clinic. I was on a team with 2-3 Physical Therapist Assistants. I served as a Clinical Instructor to PT students. I treated all ages of clients with a variety of diagnoses. I performed evaluations, treatments, re-assessments and discharges. I established an aquatic therapy treatment program in conjunction with the YMCA and provided treatment interventions in this setting. I resigned from this position to be a stay at home mother and move to Evansville to support my husband as he started his residency program.

I resigned from this position to move closer to my family in order to have assistance with my newborn daughter while my husband finished medical school.
