• Summer School Teacher: Cared for and created programs for nieces and nephews during the summer of 2010. Led arts, crafts, tutoring, and outdoor activities.

• Student Activities Coordinator: Assisted an out of state Christian summer camp in 2012 by organizing different games to foster connection and play among students.

• Youth Performing Arts Coach: Gave individualized feedback and coordinated different prompts and improvisational activities to strengthen acting skill sets.

• Personal Garden: 10+ years of caring for and growing vegetables, herbs, fruit trees, and perennial shrubs. Learned to integrate complementary plants in garden beds, manage the quality of soil, and have explored natural pest management.

• Childhood Experiences on Organic Farms: Frequented a local organic farm my grandfather helped build. Took part in planting, caring for, and harvesting crops. Also helped with grow and harvest vegetables on my mother's property growing up.

• WWOOFing: Tended to an organic farm via World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF). Oversaw farm production/cultivation and the building of mud houses.
