Whit in the 9 years. I worked as a caregiver, and I had multiple clients.
Some were not able to move on their own; I had Alzheimer's or dementia.
I would bathe/shower them, clean them up after soiling their pants.
Prepared meals, cleaned the homes, shopped for groceries, ran errands, and drove them to where they needed or wanted to go.
My goal is to make them as happy as I can. I wanted them to be comfortable, talk to them as an adult; most of the clients loved me as much as I cared for them.
Some of my clients were at the end, and it would be 24 hours 7 days a week. When changing shifts, we keep notes of what I did and how their day was.

Received an best employee for the month
A month after I worked at Parks Senior Villas, I was voted the Employee of the Month. Because I would stop my job to help. I made friends with all the residents and employees. I joined in on the exercises. I would go to the rooms and let them know we were going to do our exercises if they knew I would be joining them, the residents would come to join us. The activity director voted for me, I would help her get the residents who wanted to go see a movie, which was located in another Villa.
