I used to be an English teacher in China for about 9 years and I really enjoy my teaching when seeing my students get improvement in academics and chatting with me about their lives. After coming to Seattle in 2010, I stopped my work and started to explore the beautiful city and get more different and wonderful life experience. One year later, I became a mom with two lovely twin daughters, my strong responsibility of being a great mom inspired me to accompany and take care of them all day long and set a strong and intimate relationship among us which I value the most in my life and that also explains why I didn't work as a teacher in school after coming to USA. Being a 10 year home mom benefits me a lot, I have learned how to manage time more smartly, how to really comprehend kids' emotions and thoughts behind their behaviors. What's more, I also become an intermediate piano player for being a piano and Chinese teacher for them at home. Being a great mom is multiple tasking, I am trained to be an excellent chef, tailor, executive and etc. I really appreciate what life brings me in different periods, everything is a gift and you can always learn from it. Now my beloved daughters are going to the middle school and it will also be a new start for me now. Keep pursuing my dream and returning to my familiar teaching position will not only invoke my hidden potential but also make a greater contribution to our community.
