Works with key operational stakeholders within assigned facility and supply chain peers in supply chain operational improvement efforts and programs to lead and ensure a compliant, effective, and streamlined supply chain experience at the local site for all clinicians they serve.

Develop and improves inventory control policies and procedures and support assigned clinical areas to ensure inventory control policies and procedures are properly implemented.

Manages assigned inventories through daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cycle counts, annual physical counts, requisitions, replenishment, researching and seeking and alternative sources and materials when necessary, maintaining communication with support customers, monitoring supplies usage and removing and disposing of obsolete or outdated products.

Organizing and leading staff in conducting periodic inventory count, adjusts quantities and locations, when necessary, and records and reports discrepancies to management.

Knowledge and application of inventory management practices.

Identify and implement department improvement(safety, process flow, shelf spacing optimization, scheduling, FIFO rotation, cleaning schedules, ability to execute plans based upon analysis of metrics, tracking daily output and performance of staff, reporting of product outages and increased utilization).

Work closely with all departments to perform all par maintenance functions in collaboration and or conjunction with inventory control as needed.

Lead distribution specialists job functions and schedule times to meet daily departmental demands.

Able to work with little or no supervision.

Plan and schedule work of warehouse, equipment team and receiving/dock personnel ensuring proper distribution of assignments, adequate manning, space and facilities for subsequent performance of tasks. Maximize employee efficiencies of all shift work and schedule.

Leads assigned staff in the attainment of performance standards and evaluate performance; provide input regarding performance. Meet regularly with department staff and supply chain leadership and customers to resolve issues of concern. Serve in a preceptor role couching, teaching and mentoring new employees.
