Works with key operational stakeholders within assigned facility and supply chain peers in supply chain operational improvement efforts and programs to lead and ensure a compliant, effective, and streamlined supply chain experience at the local site for all clinicians they serve.
Develop and improves inventory control policies and procedures and support assigned clinical areas to ensure inventory control policies and procedures are properly implemented.
Manages assigned inventories through daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cycle counts, annual physical counts, requisitions, replenishment, researching and seeking and alternative sources and materials when necessary, maintaining communication with support customers, monitoring supplies usage and removing and disposing of obsolete or outdated products.

Leads assigned staff in the attainment of performance standards and evaluate performance; provide input regarding performance. Meet regularly with department staff and supply chain leadership and customers to resolve issues of concern. Serve in a preceptor role couching, teaching and mentoring new employees.
