I have served as a Board Member and Volunteer starting in 2022 working with C.H.E.E.R to clean and restore local coastal ecosystems with a focus on the Pajaro River Watershed. My work with this organization aids in improving populations of the federally endangered and protected South -Central Coast Steelhead Trout.

Oversee operations of a 4,000 acre wild horse sanctuary. Provide essential and emergency care for over 500 wild horses. Operating heavy equipment : skid steer, backhoe, tractors, semi-truck, digger.

Lead the agri-tourism projects at the ranch; educating visitors on the importance of our local ecosystem within the ranch by identifying all native flora and fauna and their niche in this specific environment.

Accomplishments

    Worked on a project in partnership with the Santa Clara Valley Water District , establishing an alternative route to release dam water into a creek to make a natural hatchery for young of the year Steelhead. This project, referred to as Dave's Creek Project, will increase the survival rates for Steelhead fry.

4/27/2024: I was awarded a Congressional Resolution from Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren for my efforts in local Environmental Conservation.
