- I was hired as a order picker/packer
- I'd pick orders and write down on a inventory sheet for each product the amount being taken as well as Product ID #
- Due to there being no RF scanners in the workplace, this is how they kept track of inventory
- Cut 10' long wood down to pieces in the woodshop to build pallets from scratch for big heavy orders
- Used forklift to ship and receive heavy orders coming in and going out
- Due to my ability to stay busy and take initiative in any situation, I was promoted to a CNC Operator position
- I was to start up and warm up machine every morning upon arrival at least 30 minutes before our operations began
- I would program CNC to cut through different materials, applying different settings and drill bits accordingly
- I would not let any big surface areas of materials go to waste
- I was very useful in not wasting any material by using measuring tape and making sure the execution of the cut was to be performed within the surface area
- Change drill its every 2 weeks as performing multiple cuts everyday dulled out the flutes of the drill bits very quickly
- I would let manager know when inventory of drill bits and all materials to be cut were getting low so that we would have a new set coming in while still having a fair amount to last at least a week
- I also did full assembly of their signage products for the letters or logos that got cut out by CNC machine
- Operated a V-cut machine as well as a channel bending and a nail gun that shot 6mm nails & smaller into aluminum channels
