Support the ECSE program through:

• Coordinate, facilitate, and lead the newly created Evaluation Team to adhere to due process guidelines, processes, and procedures and decrease the time from referral to start of special education services.
• Enrollment and Intake with families to determine the level of services needed and next steps for the family.
• Collaborating with staff to problem solve through challenging situations.
• Coaching and modeling with staff to prepare for family meetings and to reflect after challenging situations.
• Facilitating classroom instruction with staff in all areas of development.
• Collaboration with specialists from departments and outside agencies, working in conjunction with early learning services and ECSE.
• Collaborating with general education partners in early childhood
• Representative for ECSE on Building and District-Wide Committees
• Facilitating meetings for staff to review strategies for due process, instruction, classroom services, and staffing.
• Professional Development (PD) determination and scheduling

• Provide special education instruction and case management in an inclusion preschool classroom to students with special education needs, including significant social-emotional needs
• Provide special education and consultation services to students in community preschool settings as assigned
• Conduct initial evaluations for special education eligibility
• Provide Developmental Delay consultation to elementary schools

• Provide special education instruction and case management to 3-5-year-old children in the community, home, and High Five preschool classrooms
• Conduct evaluations for special education eligibility
