During my junior year of high school, I took a Business Design class where we were tasked with creating and operating a small business. Along with two classmates and our teacher, we decided to launch a coffee cart. I served as the lead menu designer and developed and perfected our coffee recipes. We operated on select mornings, offering a variety of beverages and occasional sweet treats. My final time participating in the coffee cart was in May 2025, but I'm proud that the project continues to run successfully at our school.
I worked at Tri County for just under a year, where I gained valuable experience in customer service and learned the importance of meeting customer needs.
Tho I was active in 4H my whole like I started with Youth Leadership by being a Ambassador and helping at Youth Day Camps. I would also attend Youth training at SMSU in Marshall, MN where me and other group members attended Leadership training.
While also in 4h I helped at the Big Stone County Fair where I participating in showing Beef Cattle and Swine.
