- I run and manage my own small business selling handmade crocheted and sewn items. I attend multiple in-person events a year, as well as doing commission pieces for clients. During these in-person events, I am responsible for everything from checking customers out, ensuring my inventory is properly displayed, fixing displays, and maintaining the booth's orderliness. I am also tasked not only with doing all of my own promotional materials for events, which has given me a lot of extra experience on computers, but I also must multitask daily to make sure I can get everything I need done promptly. I have a lot of experience talking and interacting with customers who may come up to ask any number of questions about a variety of topics or items. I thoroughly enjoy talking and interacting with everyone, which I think would translate nicely to any number of jobs, since being able to communicate effectively with all clients in person or online is essential in my business.

- Starting at age 15, I worked with my father after school and during the summers, taking care of people's lawns. We ran a successful small business, taking on various odd jobs for clients, including painting, cleaning, lawn cutting, hedge trimming, and any other tasks we were offered. We decided to stop the business back in 2021 when my father started having trouble keeping up with it. This experience provided me with a wealth of valuable skills, including being detail-oriented. I like to believe he built me such a strong foundation by showing me how to be self-reliant, which allowed me to form my own small business that I now run.
