Alum of the Leader in Education Apprentice Program (LEAP), Manhattan cohort, 2023. LEAP is a competency-based graduate program that prepares teacher leaders to become assistant principals and principals in NYC public schools. The LEAP curriculum is grounded in national leadership frameworks, and the Multidimensional Principal Performance Rubric (MPPR). The program focuses on critical components of transformational school leadership, including teacher feedback, public speaking, data analysis concerning racial equity and disproportionality issues, family and community engagement, and strategic decision-making. Well-rounded and compassionate Special Education Teacher skilled at addressing each student's unique needs and creating effective lesson plans to accommodate special circumstances. Provides appropriate and individualized instruction to build foundations for lifelong learning. Develops, implements and acts as teacher of record of Individualized Education Plans for students with disabilities.
