Clarisse Wong

As an InterVarsity Worship Leader, I help lead IV All Campus Gatherings in worship and song. I love being able to use my voice to praise God and create a welcoming atmosphere for worship.

• I’m an active member of Phi Alpha Delta (PAD), where I mentor two littles, attend weekly meetings, and connect with guest speakers to learn more about the legal field. I love building community, supporting my littles, and helping new members feel at home in the chapter.

• As a Social Media Marketing Assistant for University of San Diego Dining Auxiliaries, I’ve created flyers, social media campaigns, posters and worked with our Director of Dining and Auxiliaries Marketing to promote our dining and stores on campus.

• As a Great America Admissions Associate, I greet guests and scan tickets at the entrance. I assist with any entry issues and answer basic questions. I help direct guests and provide park information. I ensure a smooth, friendly entry experience. I follow safety and park procedures at all times.

• I serve as the Podcast Manager for Students Against Period Poverty Cupertino, where I research, develop, and produce monthly informational podcasts for our Spotify channel. Collaborating with fellow officers, I help script and record engaging content to raise awareness and educate a broader audience on menstrual equity and related topics.

• As a worship leader for the Spiritual Formation team, I have been an on campus leader the past year. I have had many wonderful opportunities like going to spiritual retreat, having lunches with our school leaders, leading worship, leading prayer and devotional. One of my main responsibilities and joy, is serving every week during chapel. From leading the whole student body in prayer to explaining the worship songs, and to leading the whole school in song, it has been my greatest joy. I love using my passion for singing to spread the Gospel, and being bold for Jesus.

• I joined Mock Trial during my junior year and competed as a leading witness and detective for the prosecution team in the criminal murder case People v. Clark. Through this experience, I developed a strong passion for advocacy and courtroom procedure and was honored with the Most Valuable Player for Attorneys award at the Santa Clara County Mock Trial Competition. During my senior year, I served as the Outreach Manager for Mock Trial, where I organized our club fair booth, led social media campaigns, coordinated fundraisers, and managed promotional outreach across campus. That same year, I competed as the Defendant’s Closing Attorney in People v. Gold and received the Most Valuable Player Attorney award at the Santa Clara County Mock Trial Competition.

• I was one of the founding officers of Fashion Club during my sophomore year, beginning as the Social Media Manager. In this role—and continuing throughout my leadership, I utilized my graphic and video design skills to create and manage social media campaigns, producing Instagram content for the club’s account (@vcsstylenova). I later became President of Fashion Club, where I organized and led activities for each meeting, designed and coordinated our club fair booth, hosted a prom fashion drive benefiting a children’s hospital, organized a cultural fashion show, and oversaw all related social media campaigns. As president, I led the team with an emphasis on unity, collaboration, and creativity.

• I performed in The Music Man over the summer as the Constable’s Wife, participating in multiple dance ensemble numbers and featured with a solo singing line.
