Summary

People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care. That and the phrase “Christianity is a contact sport,” drive me. In a dark and broken world, we are called to be salt and light, but if our salt has lost its saltiness what good is it? If our light is under a bowl, of what light can it shine? “The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet. (~ Frederick Buechner, Wishful Thinking). My “deep gladness” comes when I can guide people deeper into their faith. My preaching and teaching is motivated by a deep desire to pastorally communicate the deep and abiding love of Jesus Christ to those who are struggling with issues of life and to those who desire a deeper journey of faith. My goal as a preacher and teacher is to grow faithful Christians by helping them to discover where their lives and their faith intersect. Accomplished Senior Pastor bringing more than seventeen years of expertise in cultivating and shepherding community. Successful providing discipleship, welcoming new members, facilitating pastoral care and preaching to community. Accomplished in contributing to spiritual formation and disciple-making efforts. Excited to bring talent and spiritual leadership to growing church.
