Shipment in-transit and keep customer appraised with regards to arrival times, delays or transit issues and help to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations at all times.
Ensure all communications are professional, timely and appropriately handled using the best medium, for both internal and external correspondence.
Ensure all documentation is supplied in a timely manner to customer and/or broker for customs purposes. Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed
Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers

Schedule delivery appointments for all available loads based on the last free day to prevent per diem/demurrage fees. Check the customs status with steamship lines on all in bond moves.

Track, trace, and troubleshoot all loads that have not arrived into the yard. Communicate with DSL-DM or driver if necessary and contact customer to reschedule delivery if needed in order to prevent service failure. Check out gates and availability from the previous day and notify customers of any pending container holds. Answer incoming customer phone calls and e-mails. See that any special needs or problems are communicated to the Operations Staff to ensure proper fulfillment. Discuss customer needs or problems with VP of Operations.

Update customer data, freight bills and spread sheets to ensure containers are scheduled for pickup and delivery to ensure on time deliveries. Verifying that all charges are guaranteed and collectable.
