Functions developed under Recovery
-Intake, collecting and documenting basic information to identify each household that is staying at the shelter and any immediate needs. -Recovery Planning queue to case closure. -Individual casework interaction with clients to identify recovery roadblocks for their recovery planning. -Support clients and workers to identify and overcome the roadblocks that prevent a client's transition from a shelter to more sustainable living solutions. -Provide situational awareness to the DRO about client roadblocks and needs. -Worked closely with shelter workers, disaster health services, disaster mental health and spiritual care workers to provide service to clients inside the shelter and with Federal, State and Community partners at shelters to collaborative develop shelter resident transition plans.
