Work History

Property/Farm Wildlife Manager Assistant

Campbell Enterprises
Troy, AL
06.2017 - Current
  • Campbell Enterprises owns over a thousand acres of land that I assisted in the management for enhancement of wildlife and management of multiple lakes/fish as well as enhancement of the aesthetics of the property. I worked closely with my supervisor but also spent significant time performing my duties alone. Some of those duties included upkeep of the landscape and upkeep/maintenance of equipment. My primary duties revolved around wildlife and pond management. This included management of wildlife habitat, including planting/managing food plots, prescribed burning, and feeding. I also assisted in managing several small lakes. This including landscape improvements, feeding, as well working closely with biologists in fish management. I have managed several employees over the last several years.

Baseball Umpire

AHSAA/ Troy Parks and Recreation
Troy, AL
03.2017 - Current
  • Baseball and softball umpire for multiple ages. I have umpired games for 8 year olds to high school. This position allowed me to continue to be a part of the game that I played. Being an umpire requires extensive knowledge of rules. Each age group has differing rules to enforce. Younger ages required me to work by myself, as the leader on the field. Responsible for rules and the game but also the leader to coaches and parents. In the older ages, I worked with a team of 1-2 additional umpires. This required team work and judgement. Umpiring exposed me to many different situations that arose quickly that required knowledge of game and rules. I learned valuable lessons on how to deal with difficult situations.
