Clay Chase

I'm a high-achieving student, leader, and athlete with a steady work ethic who loves working with kids and seeks out ways to help my community. As a camp counselor, I have proven expertise in behavior management and modification. I worked my way up from counselor to counselor in training to paid lead counselor. In that position, I excelled in designing enriching activities, fostering team building, and enhancing parental communication.

Skilled in mentoring peers, demonstrating a significant impact on campers' development and counselor training effectiveness.

I'm also a two-sport varsity captain who leads by examples and strives to balance strong leadership with engagement, bringing younger teammates into the fold and encouraging solidarity. I have contributed to improving our soccer team record significantly in the span of one season as captain.

VARSITY SOCCER CAPTAIN

• Helped to lead a team of 28 players.
• Collaborated with coaches on roster, team strategy, formations to use, fundraising, etc.
• Directed captain's practices once a week through summer and fall.
• Mentor and support younger players and JV players in their transition to the team.

VARSITY TRACK CAPTAIN

• Will lead a team of 40-plus runners this spring
• Will help lead practices, communicate with the team and coach, and make sure all runners are working to their potential.
