The RF Engineer is responsible is for conducting highly complex network system administration and design engineering activities to maximize network connectivity and capacity.

  • Designs, monitors, and maintains unlicensed/licensed 5.8 GHz/6 GHz/11 GHz microwave and unlicensed/semi=licensed 60-80 GHz millimeter-wave
  • Conducts case studies/lab scenarios of new RF technology
  • Building/tests mockups for innovative/creative methods of mounting RF equipment to a variety of structures
  • Responsible for day to day monitoring of the Microwave Network.
  • Remotely troubleshoot and recommend corrective actions to correct network degradation or failure.
  • Coordinate corrective or preventive maintenance activities with internal groups and outside vendors performing the work.
  • Remote support of corrective or preventive maintenance activities with internal resources and outside vendors performing the work.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for RF/MW network issues.
  • Work with vendors to resolve hardware or software faults
  • Perform software/firmware upgrades on MW equipment as required.
  • Manages and oversee all phases of RF/MW installation, construction, and testing in the field.
  • Develop and streamline procedures and processes for RF/MW installation and testing.
