Dynamic Information Technician Chief with the U.S. Army, recognized for transforming a failing records management program into a functional success. Proven expertise in IT platform management and cross-functional collaboration, leading to enhanced operational efficiency. Acknowledged for conducting critical pre deployment assessments and fostering instructor recruitment initiatives, driving mission readiness and team cohesion.
I currently serve as the Information Technician Chief for an Aerial Intelligence Brigade located on Fort Gordon, Ga. During my tenure, I have conducted the life cycling on critical IT platforms for the Brigade and 4 subordinate Battalions. I was appointed as the BDE level Records Manager for the unit shortly after being assigned to the organization and within three months, I took a failing program to a functional program for the first time since the organization stood up 10 years ago. This action was acknowledged by the INSCOM CIO. I have also conducted Predeployment Site Surveys (PDSS) to evaluate the placement of aerial platforms being relocated within Europe to further the mission of a major Command. I later receive commendation for working with on-site and international assets to aide INSCOM leadership in making an informed decision concerning the future of the platform's utilization in a deployed environment.
During this period, I was selected for and appointed as the 1SG of HQ & Aco., 369th SIG BN which was the Headquarters Company for a Signal TRADOC Battalion. The organization consisted of 100 uniformed Soldiers and 42 Civilians. During an instructor shortage, I worked with the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) G1&G8 collaboratively with Signal Branch at HQDA to solve a long standing instructor manning problem. My efforts were commended by Signal Branch leadership as I also initiated an instructor recruitment initiative that utilized Social media to informally recruit eligible NCOs across the for to be directly solicited for the opportunity to PCS and become an instructor. This collaboration allowed for me to successfully gain 37 Instructors overall for the unit and the two separate courses. I was also able to work with the local Marine Corps Detachment, Air Force, and Navy units to put on a Joint fitness event for Cadets of the Fort Gordon Youth Challenge Academy intended to encourage enlistment into the Armed Forces. Present a coin by the Regimental CSM of the Signal Corps for execution of the initiative.
While assigned as a Training Management NCO for the United States Army Signal School (USASS) under 15th Signal BDE, I was in charge of a consolidated training site that facilitated the Capstone of 5 different MOSs and the Capstone for those MOSs as two separated events. During my tenure, I advanced the training by gathering and collaborating with the Branch management teams for each MOS to be trained. I then conducted the first Individual Critical Task List (ICTL) Crosswalk to be executed for the USASS. These actions led to the transformation of both training programs to meet the CCoE's Commander's intent for all Soldiers field and technical training falling in line with the expectations of the latest version of FM 3-0.
