  • grab job coming down line and read ticket to specifications customer wants it.
  • jobs come with foam and fiber already on, so i just put on fabric/vinyl/leather on and upholster to what ticket says.
  • three months in i was asked by plant manager to learn how to do lotus, a chair that only one other guy in the building knows how to do.
  • on that job there is a lot of steps being upholstering arms caps which are the arms that ho on chair.
  • spring up chair then glue down foam to chair.
  • heat press fabric/leather, allow to dry for specified time.
  • glue cover down to chair allowing a certain amount of time for that to dry.
  • the finally after dry times are up, upholster the chair and assemble mechanism and base along with casters(wheels).
