• Prescribed burn operations in both holding and ignitions positions to create fuel breaks, restore habitat, and protect property
• Forestry surveys to determine tree stand health in timber sales, as well as fuel plots with the goal of future planning for Rx burns and fuels reduction
• Saw projects that included bucking and limbing trees on different slopes and terrains, as well as basic felling to thin fuels or create space for native plants

• Noxious weed identification and removal with Forest Service partners (Houndstongue, Common Mullein, Thistles, cheatgrass)
• Campground maintenance involving tasks such as vegetation removal and building or restoring picnic tables
• Multiple on file “Letters of Exemplary Performance” highlighting work ethic, personality, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Camp experience while on the job, including backcountry
