    I volunteered to host a bi-weekly game night that I opened up to my local community. I was new in town and wanted to get to know people.

    The responsibilities for this are as follows:

    1.) Organize timetables for each game or challenge

    2.) Communicate with participants about their experience and what they enjoyed or felt it lacked

    3.) Come up with creative challenges for participants to overcome

    4.) Foster teamwork and creativity

    5.) Reward people for creative thinking, getting in the spirit of the game, or even just breaking out of their shell to engage more.

    6.) Write and stick to a narrative or theme

    7.) Mediate disagreements or ideas between players.

Tang Soo Do

Through many years of determination and commitment I achieved a black belt in the korean art of Tang Soo Do. I have done community demonstrations, taught in outreach programs, participated in tournaments, and made the philosophies part of my daily life.
