- Prepare and operate Flexographic printing press for maximum efficiency and production.
- Examine job orders to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors and special printing instructions.
- Load and position unprinted materials.
- Check job information at each press to verify that correct ink was delivered.

- Adjust controls to regulate flow of ink and dampening solution to plate cylinder.

- Inspect machines and perform daily maintenance and repairs, scheduling short term and long term repairs with Maintimizer.
- Analyze daily density readings from each printer to detect potential quality issues.
- Proof all job orders, securing client approval prior to production.
- Employee root cause analysis to troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
- Oversee assistant press operator; oversee printing department.
- Follow MSDS sheets.
