At Tidewater Marine International Inc., I was expected to perform a variety of different jobs to help complete the goal of repairing, painting, and cleaning vessels under strict contracts and deadlines. I could be found ripping up the paint from the deck floor with needle guns, to carefully painting railings and other areas, to cleaning large amounts of oil and gasoline via pumping it out, or by meticulously hand cleaning it. A common activity I had performed was moving large pumps and suction lines from different areas of the ship, up and down stairs, or across the entire vessel a few times a day, everyday.
