  • Assisted with critical MMAW welds on steering ram for boat rudder along with walkway support for engine room deck. In addition performed and tested multiple MMAW welds for steel plating in Horizontal, Vertical, Flat and Overhead positions.
  • Performed GTAW welds for aluminum plating
  • Calibrated flow and pressure settings to build and maintain flames on GTAW
  • Cut, grinded and bent edges of materials to be joined for snug fit using power grinders and hand tools.
  • Removed old sinks, toilets and pipes in preparation for installation of new fixtures.
  • Soldered copper piping on multiple occasions to improve galley operations
  • Delivered instructional presentations on equipment use, focusing on efficiency and safety in use of firefighting and flooding equipment
