I am a registered nurse with almost three years of experience on the job. I graduated with my ADN and have worked in both the fast paced environment of a large emergency department where the patient care is brief but extensive, as well as the semi-long term care environment of an LTAC where great interpersonal and nursing skills can be honed. I have also just completed my first short term contract on a busy medical surgical floor where fast learning and adaptability was key. Apart from nursing, I have spent some time working as a telemetry tech and am well trained in the interpretations of cardiac rhythms, a skill that has been very useful in my nursing career. I look forward to attaining more nursing experience and improving my skills further in new environments.
