SamarLeyte Texas: SamarLeyte Texas (SLT) is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization with the mission to promote goodwill in support of the people in need. SLT serves the community through various local volunteer activities in Metropolitan Houston and outreach programs in the Philippines including but not limited to medical missions, livelihood projects, disaster relief operations, and college scholarship programs.

Philippine Kalayaan Houston : PKH is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational, cultural and charitable purposes within the meaning of Sec. 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or in the corresponding section of any future Federal Tax Code. PKH shall organize and facilitate the annual celebration of the Philippine Independence Day in the Greater Houston area in coordination with the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Houston, and other Filipino-American organizations, for the purpose of promoting the preservation of Philippine tradition, heritage and culture. PKH may raise funds, receive contributions and hold property for use for the above purpose; or for any other educational, cultural and charitable activities as determined by the Board of Directors in conjunction with its main purpose of organizing the annual celebration of the Philippine Independence Day.
