Provide skilled OT services in a 200 bed Nursing Facility. Complete and maintain electronic medical records and supervise 3 COTA’s and 1 OTR. Evaluate patients' progress in skilled nursing, home environment. And prepare reports that detail progress. Test and evaluate patients' physical abilities, support system and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients. Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in skilled nursing facility and home evaluation to help rehabilitate to return to home environment, alone or with caregiver. Recommend changes in patients' work or living environments, consistent with their needs and capabilities. Consult with other rehabilitation team members on patient’s progress with occupational therapy services.
