I was the Union President and lead negotiator for the South Pasadena Firefighters' Local 3675 for ten years. As the lead negotiator, I developed the communication skills needed to turn a contentious negotiation meeting into a productive negotiation meeting. My abilities to collaborate and problem-solve enabled me to succeed as a firefighter/paramedic for 18 years. I am detail-oriented and eager to learn the skills necessary to succeed in labor relations.
