Technician – Staff Quality Assurance Inspector

  • Provide workmanship training for soldering and application of polymers/epoxies (coating and staking of electro-mechanical assemblies) per nationally recognized standards for high reliability applications.
  • Perform detailed inspections of complex printed circuit boards using stereomicroscopes with up to 130x magnification. Also perform visual and dimensional inspections on an optical measurement system.
  • Trained and certified for inspections to the requirements of NASA workmanship standards as well as IPC-J-STD-001/004 for commercial, military standards
  • Have primarily performed inspections for Avionics Systems Engineering and support equipment redesigns for the F-16 (also knowledge of F-15) aircraft, A10, B52, and B1
