Project: Marne Mold Contamination Application Tool (MCAT), U.S. Army 3rd Infantry Division
I recently was the lead UI designer for an award winning project within the U.S. Army. The project focuses on solving the problem of mold contamination currently plaguing barracks locations at U.S. Army installations across the United States. Along with the efforts of SPC. Salem Ezz and LT. Christopher Aliperti, my team researched, designed, and developed a software based mold contamination reporting tool that is currently in the process of being developed by engineers within the Army.Directly resulting from the success of this project, the 3rd Infantry Division was able to obtain funding for the Marne Innovation Center, which provides a space for both private sector civilians and military personnel to work together on solving complex technical challenges facing the U.S. Army.
