Assistant City Engineer - Wastewater

  • Managed and currently overseeing the design and construction of all City of Meridian water renewal facility projects for the last seventeen years. Project highlights include the $44 million liquid stream water renewal facility expansion, $16 million headworks expansion and the ongoing tertiary membrane filtration and biosolids dryer projects.
  • Managed and oversaw the design, permitting and construction of the first reuse system for a municipality in the state of Idaho.
  • Managed the design and construction of various lift station, pressure sewer and trunk sewer including the North Black Cat trunk sewer, pressure sewer, and regional lift station for northwest Meridian.
  • Worked with an internal team on the connection of county subdivisions with failing community water and/or sewer systems to the City such as the Meridian Heights/Kentucky Ridge subdivision.
  • Serve as one of the main points of contact for the development community for sewer serviceability requests and meet with the development community on a regular basis.
  • Integrally involved in the development of the 10 year Capital Improvement plan for the Water Renewal Facility and Collection system for the last seventeen years.
  • Represents the Public Works Department at City Council meetings on a monthly basis.

  • Led the update to the Meridian Water Renewal Facility Plan and the Sewer Master Plan
  • Provided input to team lead regarding areas for process and procedural improvement.
