Accurately read,understand, and carry out written instructions. Follow company procedures, and maintain work environment in a neat and orderly condition. Set up and operate machine tools to repair and fabricate parts, such as shears, punches, rolls, welders and drill presses, operate forklifts and personnel lifts. Prepare and administer preventive maintenance work orders. Inspect and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Troubleshooting and rebuilding various types of pumps(Weir, Thomas, Ash, and Durco). Install, align and replace pulleys, conveyer belts, and gearboxes. Troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment in the mill, (Trunnion lube systems, pinion lube systems, petron lube sprays). Support technicians in equipment maintenance and repair. Coordinate and monitor maintenance for large repairs. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures. Supervisor relief, assist supervisor in lining out crew and assisting them throughout the day. Acting supervisor when supervisor is not in. Collaborate with supervision, operations and planning departments to ensure smooth work flow and efficient organization of operations.
