Maintaining and repairing microwave radio and related equipment.
Maintaining, testing, and operating power equipment, emergency engines, and various building support equipment.
Maintaining buildings and grounds at unattended sites.
In "special services" assignments, the following additional functions may be performed:
Handling customer contacts, accepting trouble reports, testing circuits, analyzing results and directing trouble investigations.
Tracking progress of service starts and rearrangements.
In "switching assignments", the following additional functions may be performed:
Operating computers and other mechanized systems on a daily basis.
Preparing inputs, analyzing outputs, maintaining and repairing various electronic and electromechanical switching.
