  • After three months, I was recognized for my work ethic. I was placed at the Salad station, where my responsibilities grew to include keeping an inventory of all kitchen items and prepping different foods and ingredients for a restaurant serving about 400 patrons a night.
  • Three months later, I moved up to the Pizza and Frying stations. I properly cleaned the kitchen appliances, including the grill vents, deep fryer, grill gate, and grease tray, ensuring everything was up to code before and after use.
  • After two months, the kitchen manager acknowledged my commitment to excellence and my ability to exemplify the role and decided to promote me to the Grill station. This promotion allowed me to apply all the skills I had been cultivating since my start date.
  • In addition to my responsibilities at the grill station, I was charged with overseeing the expedition process for the kitchen. This role involved working closely with the line cooks to ensure the highest quality entrées were served.
