  • Responsible for providing general direction and operational expertise in leading, managing and coordinating the safe construction, maintenance, and repair of electric power distribution and transmission lines, including all equipment, in NBU’s Electric System under the direction of the Electric Operations Manager
  • · Worked with industry professionals in the Texas Public Power Corridor (TxPPC) program and with NBU teams to implement best practices. By fostering strong relationships, I've facilitated knowledge-sharing sessions, developed strategies, and streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and performance. Our efforts have driven improvements and promoted a culture of continuous learning.
  • · Collaborated with Electric Ops leadership and others to support enhanced safety measures and training.
  • · Initiated cost control measures by creating a method to allow for online ordering of uniforms.
  • · Created management audit teams and worked with them to implement operational procedures that ensure department consistency.

Responsible for handling and installing electric overhead and underground equipment in order to ensure continued reliability and resiliency of the NBU electric distribution system for our customers. Developed a deep understanding of the system design and operation that I have shared with up and coming linemen over the years.
  • · Installed equipment ranching from utility poles to power lines, crossarms, insulators, switches and switchgear.
  • · Tested equipment, including conductors, switches, voltage regulators and transformers.
  • · Climbed poles and used truck-mounted buckets to access power lines and other equipment.
  • · Actively supported NBU’s focus on safety of our teams and our system.
