Hello! My name is Cocomi Tran and I am currently a student at Texas Tech University majoring in Journalism.

My journey into what I want to be when I grow up and who I am today has shaped me. I lived in Maryland in the United States and Okinawa, Japan. With that being said, those two places has made me into who I am embracing change, being open-minded, adapt quickly and understand the strengths of diversity. Recently I moved to Texas.

Despite all the change in my life, one thing that has remained constant throughout is my passion and love for sports, more specifically soccer. Whether it was watching it online, playing different sports with my friends for fun, or watching professionals and the team that I support, I have always loved and been inspired by sports. It has taught me many things when it comes to emotions.

With that being said I am not only a fan, but involved and wanted to learn about the Sports journalist experience in person. I made a big jump across the world from Dallas, Texas to London UK for a internship. Then I moved to Madrid, Spain to be a official journalist.

I have learned lots of things during my time but I am confident that I am a team player, resilient, and hard working because of my skills and experience and I want to continue building what is an inspiring company. I will learn, understand, and share from whatever I see.
