Work History
Shipping Utility
Nucor Tubular Products-Gallatin
Ghent, Kentucky
03.2026 - Current
As a Utility in Shipping my skills include equipment operations on overhead cranes, small forklifts, large capacity Taylor forklifts, CombiLifts, the skid loader, lull and yard truck.
I have spent time working one-on-one with new and more seasoned teammates training them on equipment, job functions, work ethic and positive teammate interactions to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
In the role of a Utility teammate, I am responsible for the following tasks: Loading trucks and rail cars via overhead crane and Taylor forklifts, ensuring that fall protection and dunnage are utilized correctly based on NTP and customer requirements on trucks and rail cars alike, as well as light curtain, CombiLift and Taylor functions within the I-Bay Border Wall work processes.
Practices effective time management to prioritize tasks and enhance productivity. are another pertinent concept that I practice and excel in
Pastor
Harvest Time Apostolic Church
Bee Spring, Kentucky
12.2018 - 01.2020
As a pastor, I had to have leadership skills and understand the role of a teacher.
It was vital to be able to know the needs of the congregation as a whole and adapt my approach to individual needs as necessary in a one on one setting.
This role helped me grasp that leadership isn't about just telling people what to do or giving instruction; rather that, as a leader, you live that instruction as a means of showing rather than just telling what needs to be done.
Shipper
Pan Oston
Bowling Green, Kentucky
06.2016 - 06.2017
My roles included operating a forklift daily, managing paperwork for truckloads and space management when loading dry van style trailers for shipments.
I developed teamwork skills as I had a partner that helped me prepare truck loads to be shipped and we had to work together to ensure that our tasks were accomplished and as many trucks as possible were able to be shipped out.
I was responsible for building wooden crates around sensitive or customer specific products.
