Awards
During my career with the City of Jacksboro, me and two other off-duty officers were coming back from an out of town get together. As we were pulling into the city limits of Jacksboro we observed a motel complex fully engulfed in flames. We stopped and rendered aid to as many victims as we could before the Fire Department and EMS could arrive. Without our actions many people would have died that night. Fortunately we were able to rescue all attendants but one. Later in the year, the two officer's and I received a Life Saving Award due to our actions.
