Worked as a crew leader/sawyer as well as a liaison on a 30 day overhead assignment with the National Guard during the Soberanes Fire. Primary objective was to train inexperienced National Guard troops with the task of safely performing mop up and cutting hand line on the fireline, as well as incorporating good standing relations between Cal Fire and the National Guard.
