- I serve as the Weapons Sergeant for a Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alpha (SFOD-A) that conducts Special Operations in the Pacific Theater. I am the tactical advisor to the detachment leadership; I train, supervise, and lead indigenous personnel up to company level in small unit tactics and weapons training. I employ and maintain U.S. and foreign small arms, light and heavy crew-served direct and indirect weapons, anti-aircraft, and anti-armor weapons.
- I coordinate organic and supporting fire power, coordinate standard and non-standard air delivery, airborne operations, and air-ground operations. I am responsible for the accountability, maintenance and issuance of over 25 assigned detachment weapons and over $1,100,000 worth of equipment. I maintain proficiency in target language to conduct training and key leader engagements overseas. I maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalize Information (TS-SCI) security clearance.
