(Repair Season)

-Perform after grinding inspection, tear down, rebuild, and pregrinding preparations. of DYR, CYR Elliot Steam Turbines in factory.

- Perform general maintenance in Boiler Room after factory turbines are rebuilt.

- Including: Hydo Testing Boilers, inspection of fire box grates.

Maintenance to Bagasse drags and conveyor systems.

Maintenance to Boiler Bagasse feeder system.

Maintenance to Boiler Ash drag removal system.

Rebuilding of Feed Water and Steam Line Valves

- Can handle and move material saftey with various types of equipment.

-Including: Forklift Certificated through a course provided by St. Mary Sugar

Able to operate Extention Boom Fork lifts, Bobcat/Skid steer, Front End Loaders, and Man Lifts

(Grinding Season)

- During Grinding Season Night Shift Forman in the Boiler Room

-Job Details: making sure the boiler room is operating productively to supply steam to the factory, monitoring controls from a centralized location including: boilers steam production, feed water flow, drum pressures, ID Fan bearing temperatures, bagasse drag amperage, feed water and ID fan turbine speeds, Boiler Feed Water Tank levels.

-Perform shut down operations of a boiler that is needed to taken offline for repairs, along with being able to put said boiler back online after repairs are completed.

- Make physical rounds around the boiler room periodically performing visual inspection of mechanical equipment in operation.

- Over see a crew of 10 to 11 workers in the Boiler room including. Boiler Ash pullers, Boiler Operators, Bobcat/Skid steer operator and Front End Loader operator

-Tig Weld hand railing, piping and perform repairs to Aluminum Mig Welds

(Grinding Season)

- collected samples hourly in factory to be brought to a lab tech. for testing

-samples collect: raw juice, clarification juice, final molasses, and bagasse.

- installed internal parts in oil processing vessels according to blue prints.

- Internal parts including bolting together piping, hanging ceramic insulators and fiberglass grids

-Welder/Fitter in Perp-Shop

- prefabricated supports, brackets, external and internal parts for vessels according to blueprint

- operated a Plate Roller, rolling vessel shells out of sheets of plate that were precut to the vessel shells dimensions
