In the Past 9 years that I have worked for Henry Repeating Arms I have worked in many different positions across multiple departments. When I first started back in 2017 I was a Zinc Buffer who constantly maintained above average production numbers and a high quality standard. I quickly worked my way up into the ECB room where time management and efficiency are key to maintaining a constant flow of parts. I then transferred to become a CNC operator in order to peruse more opportunities within the company and began to self educate in manufacturing and CNC and eventually became a CNC set-up. As a set-up i quickly became well versed in all our machines and processes. this lead to me taking on other roles like assisting QA with MRB cards and attending waste reduction meetings. I also became the main trainer of new set-ups teaching them the basics and standards of the job. After some time I became a CNC tech where I specialized and honed my skills and grew them as I became a reliable source of production knowledge. Then with my strong background in CNC production I became the 2nd shift Production Supervisor where I lead the 2nd shift team with a focus on optimizing production processes and ensuring a high quality output. I worked well with and collaborated with other teams like the APPS and QA to ensure good team commutation. I then transitioned to become the Shift Lead of the weekend 1st shift once we started the 4 10s. There I helped train the new shift supervisor and together we established the foundations of the weekend shift. It was during this time that I became aware that our weekend shift needed more Tech and machining help so I returned to my Role as a CNC tech to better meet the needs of our shift and I am currently in this role as of today. Now that Brandi is stepping down I feel obligated to step in and help lead the Weekend 1st shift. I have performed well in this role before as the 2nd shift production supervisor and I know that I can do so again. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
