- Currently working as team Scrum Master and Customer Success Engineer at 50% capacity with the remaining workload is allocated towards general DevSecOps and Infrastructure development.
- Primary project is a SaaS AIML application hosted on both cloud and on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
- Key member (one of two engineers) that worked the Customer Success Team for two separate programs. Initial program was for a large DoD contractor and current project support is for a DoD combat command unit. Communicated frequently with customer and met deadline for project completion.
- Major contributor on the refactoring of content deployment to include architectural planning, CI processes, API and Azure interactions, and Kubernetes cluster integration.
- Developed secure deployment strategies for group-wide GitLab runners, including designing ARM templates for rapid Azure VM setup, cronjob scheduling, health checks, blue green testing, replacement schedule, and guided documentation.
- Created and lead demos for primary customers and management, as well as AMAs at the project and team level.
- Innovated solutions to authentication challenges, such as user data migration during version updates and streamlining VM replication to save resources. Also created a playbook, integrated pipeline, and documentation allowing Product Management to easily export key user data from cluster database into hosted repository or job artifacts within a cluster-hosted Gitlab instance.
- Became a mentor within 9 months, improving team communication and technical skills.
- Both supported and led major release efforts, including Kubernetes cluster upgrades, testing fresh and in-place upgrades, ran user acceptance testing, and added additional automation via Ansible, Terraform, Playwright, and Cypress.
- Provided support during stage and production via replicating and extensively testing various issues.
- Multiple recognition bonuses for satisfactory completion of project and positive responses from customer, release efforts, and support of a DoD AIML hackathon.
