Accomplishments

  • Co-creator of the Interdiction for the Protection of Children program. A criminal interdiction program designed for first responders and investigators which teaches techniques that enable officers, while conducting normal duties, to recognize indicators that will alert them to the presence of an at risk child or to the presence of a person who has or will commit a crime against children. Since its creation in 2007, I have instructed the program to every commissioned employee of DPS as well as numerous Law Enforcement agencies in Texas, the United States, and in four different countries. To date, the program has been responsible for the documented recovery of hundreds of children around the world and for the investigation and arrest of hundreds of suspects.
