I am a motivated individual looking to exceed further in my law enforcement career. I have great communication skills when it comes to the job, and I am able to follow orders and the chain of command as necessary. I can also adapt to leadership roles when necessary. I am always looking for any training opportunity that I can obtain, as this type of career is always changing, and you can never learn enough in this job.
As a Tulsa International Airport Police Officer, I am mainly responsible for the terminal, as well as the people and property in it. Officers respond to all types of criminal and medical calls within the airport and also the surrounding properties. We also work closely with the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) on any drugs, firearms, or any other contraband that they may locate.
My experience with Mayes County began in the jail as a jailer. As I continued in the jail, I also took on the role of jail supervisor on the day shift. During my time there, I received an award for Jailer of the Year and Jail Supervisor of the Year. I worked in the jail until mid-2015, when I was accepted as a patrol deputy. I worked as a patrol deputy and courthouse deputy until August of 2023.

My free time activities & hobbies include the following: Hunting, Fishing, Kayaking, camping, sports and shooting. Any outdoors or water sports, running and the gym when time permits.
The training I have received while working in law enforcement was been: Vehicle extrication, landing zone classes, Swift Water Rescue Basics, emergency vehicle drivers training, pepper ball instructor coarse, patrol rifle (moving and shooting) class, Long Range Precision shooting (also obtained a top shot award for shooting a 580 out of 600 score). range line safety officer training, Taser X-26 and Axon taser 7 training and ERASE training.
