  • Company Overview: The National Oilwell Varco “Blowout Preventer and Controls” Shop builds two major types of Blowout Preventers, Annular (also known as Spherical) and RAM, these items combined with the control system are often assembled into what is referred to as the BOP Stack. The BOP or BDP Stack is essentially the specialized valve or similar mechanical device, used to seal, control and monitor oil and gas wells to prevent blowout, the uncontrolled release of crude oil and/or natural gas from a well.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings to review JHA’s for the tasks on the schedule and ensure all employees are up to date on policies and procedures to provide a clean and safe workplace for everyone.
  • Increase efficiency and reduce non- conformances through constant process improvement.
