  • As Sonar Supervisor aboard a United States Navy submarine, my primary role was to ensure ship safety. Maintained a flawless record of ship's safety for 3 Deployments spanning a total of 20 months deployed in strenuous environments.
  • Implemented a strong sound silencing program aboard the USS Cheyenne ensuring the submarine was among the quietest submarines in the US Navy. This involved many line diagram reviews, as well as specification reviews for replacing machinery and their mounts so that they remain in specifications.
  • As Sonar Division's Quality Assurance Inspector, I oversaw and monitored monthly maintenance items that ensured and maintained the integrity of the ship's hull to remain water tight.
  • developed and worked with engineers to revise and update engineering and technical drawings after a major ship yard period which included a complete overhaul of the ship's technical systems.
  • Responsible for coordinating and administering the Navy's Quality Assurance program to my work center. Oversaw sealing replacements and pressure drop tests to maintain water tight integrity of the submarine ship's hull.
