Responsible for servicing and maintaining natural gas compressors. Haven't gotten much experience on actual compressors, but am highly confident in my mechanical knowledge to be able to figure out or source the information needed to do any job efficiently, safely, and correctly.

• Replaced defective parts of machines and adjusted clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Used hoisting and rigging equipment to move heavy machinery and equipment.
• Made repairs and modified equipment by welding. I am not a welder by any means but can burn a rod and make it stick.
• Operated machine tools to fabricate parts during overhaul, maintenance, or setup of machineries.
• Read and interpreted blueprints and schematics to understand machinery design and layout.
• Was released due to plant closure.

• Measured old structural parts or assemblies to determine dimensional requirements of replacements parts.
• Maintained compliance with all safety procedures from both client and employer.
• Tightened or replaced bolts and gaskets to repair leaks.
• Inspected equipment and structures to determine scope of work (SOW).
• Used hand signals to notify crane operator to lift components to specific positions.
• Interpreted blueprints, sketches, and specifications for each job.
• Dismantled equipment or devices to gain access and remove defective parts or components.
• Cut out and replace tubes in boiler houses.
